I’ve been wanting to do this one for a while now. Give an update on why I went MIA (wasn’t feeling IT when writing). Close out old articles and update on my life, blog and bike situation. Closing out the first chapter of this blog, and starting part two with a clean slate.
Saying “good!” after something happens, allows us to step back and not get over flowed by negative thoughts when something happens. It allows us to, see things differently and immediately start doing to solve the problem; learning and growing. This is a continuation of last week’s Stop Thinking, Start Doing.
I plan, and plan, but have a hard time getting to the execution part. It’s part of why I’ve been MIA. I keep waiting for the perfect alignment of details, ideas, time and execution. I wait so much to the point of inaction. That’s on me, I need to stop thinking; start doing. Get out and DO!
I still have that new bike itch. Lately I’ve been obsessing what I should do: build up a frame, upgrade my current bike or just go full store purchase. I’ve decided to make a list of things I have and like, things I’d like to have on my bike and what I really need.
I’ve got a bad case of new bike itch. End of season means great deals, what path to take? New bike, upgrade, update or keep what I have. Tough decision to take, as it entails spending money, acquiring debt or staying behind on geometry, suspension kinematics and standards changing.

Part 2, I’m still just trying to get home safe. This time I’m focusing on what I need to do as a cyclist to keep myself safe on the road. From riding in the middle of the road, to helmets and lights, to stoping at red lights and not being a Salmon.
